In short: Quiet Paws has no account, no ad network, no analytics and no tracking. Your progress, tasks and places stay on your iPhone. We never receive them, and we cannot see which apps you block.

1. What stays on your phone

The app stores the following only on your device, in the app's own storage. None of it is sent to us or to any server we run.

Your buddy, its fur and outfit, coins, furniture, plants and settings	To run the game and remember your progress.
Your tasks and the places you save (name and map position)	To remind you when you arrive at or leave a place, or at a time you chose.
Your focus and sleep sessions (when they start and end)	To count minutes, pay coins and show your streak.
Pictures of your buddy made by the app	To show your own buddy in notifications, on the lock screen and on the blocking screen.

2. Screen Time and app blocking

To block apps during a session the app uses Apple's Screen Time technology (Family Controls). Apple keeps the list of apps you choose private: the app only receives anonymous tokens that it hands back to iOS to block them. We cannot see the names of the apps you choose, how long you use them, or any Screen Time report. This information is used only to block the apps you chose, for the time you chose, on your own device. It is never shared or used for advertising.

You can withdraw this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Screen Time.

3. Location

If you add a place to a task (for example "Home"), the app asks for location access. The app only watches the places you saved, using the iPhone's built-in region monitoring, so your buddy can remind you when you arrive or leave. Your location is not recorded, not tracked over time, and not sent anywhere. Saved places are stored on your device. You can delete a place in the app and turn location off in iOS Settings at any time. Everything else in the app works without location.

4. Notifications and Live Activities

Reminders, the "session complete" message and the lock screen card are created on your phone. We do not use a notification server, and nothing about them leaves your device.

5. Backups

iCloud (optional, automatic): if you are signed in to iCloud, the app copies your save to your own iCloud storage (Apple's key-value storage), so you can restore it on a new phone. We cannot access your iCloud.
Export / import: you can export your save as a file and share it wherever you choose. That is your decision and your file.

6. What we do not do

We do not collect personal data, create profiles or require an account.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and the app contains no third-party advertising or analytics code.
We do not sell or share information, because we do not have any.

7. Children

Quiet Paws is intended for people aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. [Confirm the age rating you choose in App Store Connect.]

8. Your choices and rights

Because the information stays on your device, you are in control: delete the app to remove its data from your phone, remove the iCloud copy in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage, and delete saved places inside the app. If you are in a region with data protection rights (for example the EU/UK or California) and believe we hold information about you, contact us at the address above and we will help.

9. Changes

If the app starts to handle information differently, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
